Burn Finished : Music for voice and electronics

This is a sleepy piece of music to which I later added a stop-motion slideshow of a deck being built. Yes, that is me. :)

This is a 25 minute concert recorded 8-22-10 in a warehouse. The band is Sea Bell. They're very fun to play with. If you click on the link, your browser will probbaly try to download and play a 37mb file. You can also right click and save it to the hard drive to listen to at your leisure.

This is a short audio clip that shows a textural sound made with the EVI and X.FM. the EVI is my Electronic Valve Instrument, which allows me to play a keyboard like a valved wind instrument (trupet, euphonium, horn, or tuba.) X.FM is a software synthesizer that comes with the MAX/MSP/Jitter programming environment.

This is a live video of me performing 3 pieces with trombone and Electronics. My full setup including midi cabling and effects processing is shown in detail. 3 different methods of looper control are demonstrated. The pieces are Bach Unaccompanied Cello suite 1 Prelude and Saraband, and an original piece I call "Garbonzo Shaker."
